My husband and I have been renting an apartment in new hampton lofts for nearly two years now and I cannot begin to describe the unprofessional, rude and imcompetent staff. Why Landlords continue to use this agent is beyond me. We are paying nearly £1100 a month in rent and have done so without fail every month. From when we moved in to now, they have been awful.
We had not even recieved a single electricity bill for nearly a year (after a lot of pestering by us) We are currently in the process off paying off a huge overdue electricity bill, which maguire jackson still will not respond to nor accept responsibility for. We have had silverfish in the apartment and only after 6 months of numerous phone calls and emails and threatening to withold rent was something done.
I understand mistakes occur in any buisness, but the attitudes of the staff is abysmal! They change their staff way too much, the amount of times i've heard 'so and so no longer works here' is just ridiculous.
Currently the lights in the bathroom and kitchen have wiring and electrical issues, and ofcourse I have been pestering and calling for over a month on a weekly if not daily basis. I never get a call back, and if i do its a relief! Today, I was actually fed up and called back and explained my frustration but stephanie who works in property management tried to have a full blown argument with me, it was frankly embarrasing. Is there any way I can try and get in contact with our landlord directly? As maguire jackson refuse to give us his/her contact information. Does anyone know if this is possible? We want to ask them why on earth they are paying a company to manage their property when it is not being managed!
Being landlords ourselves we understand that issues inevitably arise, luckily as tenants we have only ever had very few, but even these few have each taken months to solve, some still being unresolved.
We are unfortunately still living here for the unforseeable future and pray that we can somehow cut out Maguire Jackson as the middle man and deal with the landlord directly.
