Our washing machine started leaking on a Sunday. We rang Cedar Estates, who were incredibly helpful in running us through all the right checks, and specifically made sure that we still had hot water to our flat (the first time a lettings agent has ever gone out of their way to ask).
They then got a plumber out to look at it the next day (the first time a lettings agent has ever sent someone out for a non-urgent fault the next day).
When they told us the washing machine needed replacing, we expected that we'd be without a washing machine for the foreseeable future. Nope: they promised it to us within a week, and they ended up getting it installed 3 days later. That's a grand total of 4 days from our first issue to a brand new washing machine.
In nearly ten years renting, I've never seen service this good.
