This review was given by someone who wasn’t a tenant of Bridgewater Estates and Lettings. As it was the first review on this site, it shows up on the first page when you google ‘reviews for Bridgewater Estates and Lettings’ which I feel is unfair and gives potential customers the wrong impression of the company as all the other reviews have been 5 star. Please can it be removed or at least moved down the list so it isn’t the one that shows before people have even clicked on your site? Looking forward to your response. Linda

Dear Mr Dalton we don`t appear to have a record of you being a tenant of ours so I`m unable to comment on your specific tenancy. What I would say is that all of our deposits are fully protected within the Deposit Protection service and that any potential disputes on tenancy deposits are always carried out fairly and in accordance with the conditions of the scheme. If the dispute on your particular deposit resulted in a partial or full deduction then this would have to be justified by evidence of repairs required on the property through damage caused during the tenancy. Our strict inventory procedures ensure that the condition of any property is detailed, logged and approved by both parties at the start of a tenancy to minimise disputes at the end. If there is a disagreement then this will ultimately be resolved by the Deposit Protection dispute resolution team who are independent of ourselves.
