Katie Wilson provided us with excellent support & communication whilst buying our first home, she would ring to tell us what was happening/had happened/was going to happen. She did all the hard work & turned our mortgage application around in less than 3 weeks, she also filled out the application for our help to buy funding. If we had any questions we felt comfortable to pop in or ring as she is such a happy person & is really easy to talk to. Thanks again Katie :-) x

I found the sale fees a little expensive at fixed price ‚£2400 inc VAT, mainly because I'm also selling the house I live in away from this area, and the max our local agents take is one per cent of sale price. This fee was for a house that sold at ‚£131K but I appreciate it's head office who set the fees, and probably view this as a national average. I appreciate Andrea's comment that she put me on the lowest fee scale she could, to reflect that I'd been a client on the rental side for several years. However, I have no idea what the other fee scales are.

From a sales point of view, I hate estate agents. They put an unrealistic valuation on your house, take rubbish photos, and arrange pointless viewings for people who will never bid on your property. In that regard, I don't think Reeds Rains are any better ...

They offered us a tiered fee structure based on sell price, but our final fee has ended up a high percentage of our sale value. But to be fair to them, they've worked hard for us so I don't begrudge it too much.
