Further to my comments above a few days later I received an offer from Beverly the lettings manager who offered me 50% of my deposit back and confirmed she would continue looking for properties for me. Although Emma was the person I dealt with through the process she wasn't the one on that specific day that processed the property for rent again before I was told. Still very disappointed but they have gone some way to make this up for me. ...
