In the post Brexit market place selling and renting your property is no longer as straightforward as it once was.

The days of listing your property with an agent and waiting for the online exposure to deliver the results seems to be over. In areas of Central London for every 334 properties that are listed for sale online only 100 properties are sold*.

Property owners feel let down by their appointed agent and some are turning to the self-listing portals that offer the world however charge a fee regardless of the outcome or price achieved.

An increasing number of rental flats are now languishing on the market and void periods are becoming a reality for both commercial and accidental landlords. 24% of properties are on the market for more than 12 weeks.*

At Arlington Rouse we have benefitted from this new market - we have let 90% of the properties we have listed, of which 90% were listed with another agent previously. Many were originally listed at a lower price than the price we achieved.

Very rude and uncommunicative. Had arranged to see a flat with them. Was running a few minutes late and emailed earlier in the day, and they simply didn’t show up to the viewing without calling or anything. Avoid at all costs....

Hi Liam as you did not call us until you arrived 15 minutes late we did not wait. Emailing the office is not helpful when meeting someone as those messages are not immediately passed on at weekends. By the time we left we had waited 10 minutes in freezing temperatures for you (It was -1 on the day). We are very busy on Saturdays with other appointments we needed to meet at the correct time. ...

Complaints Procedure

Arlington Rouse are committed to the highest levels of customer service

In order that your concerns are addressed as efficiently as possible we ask that you first raise the issues verbally with the member of staff you have been dealing with. They will endeavour to deal with any issues immediately.

If you are still not satisfied then please write or email a Director

. Your complaint will be acknowledged within three working days of receipt and an investigation undertaken.
A formal written outcome of the investigation will be sent to you within 10 working days.
Following the Director investigation, a written statement expressing 'Arlington Rouses' final view will be sent to you. This will include any offer made. This letter will confirm that you are entitled if dissatisfied to refer the matter to The PRS within 12 months for a review.
