We have actually used Goodchilds for nearly 7 years overall, for our old rented property and recently for the sale of our home. Nick Labocha is first class. Totally professional - an "up-front". We had a particularly stressful sale process with an incompetent solicitor and problems with the Land Registry Office. Fees were in accordance with the quotation he gave us.1.25% plus VAT, but for the stress he carried on our behalf and the amount of extra work he personally undertook, he deserved far more !

Customer service was horrible overall. 1) We signed a 6 month contract with the option to renew every month after that. 3 months in the contract they gave us an eviction notice with no justification. 2) We provided them with a list of things that needed to be fixed and 2 months after we were 'kicked out' of the flat we are still waiting for them to fix them. They NEVER showed up. 3) Deposit was returned 2 months delayed and after we had to call them AT LEAST 20 TIMES. 4) Some terms in the con...

1) We cannot give someone notice part way through a fixed term. Legally notice can only be served two months before the end of the AST. 2) We don't have a property rented out for £880 in that area 3) The contracts are as clear as day and you are given them to read and sign to say you have understood. 4) I would ask for proof of your tenancy agreement and deposit being cut by 30%.
