I clearly stated that I would like to be contacted via e-mails so did not understand why the agent attempted to call me at all. Even if that wasn't stated, I would still expect an e-mail follow up or when the agent plans to call, they normally double check the contact details. I should be also informed that you will be attempting to contact me via phone as this is required for your safety. Worth putting it in your e-mail signature.
