Full Description

A beautiful 1930s end of terrace terrace house on one of Sydenhams's best roads in need of a new family and a little love. This handsome and proud property is offered CHAIN FREE and with a beautiful WEST FACING garden. Located on TANNSFELD ROAD - a residential road of similar properties - the house is ideally positioned for Sydenham high street, mainline station, lots of shops and cafes plus PENGE EAST station. The house has been a much loved family home for over 50 years and was well tended during this period but now requires new owners who wish to give it new lease of life and create their own, happy, safe nest. The basic details are: on the ground floor there are two glorious reception rooms, modern galley kitchen (recently installed), conservatory / sun room and beautiful wesf facing garden. On the first floor there are three bedrooms - 2 x dbs, 1 sgl - and a family bathroom. Above is a large loft, ideal for a conversion - subject to obtaining the correct permissions and certification. EPC rating is F, council tax is D. This is a rare opportunity and we invite you to make an appointment to view by calling Propertyworld on 0208 488 0011

Our childhood home was wonderful to live in. Our parents bought the place from the original owners so for us it holds many special memories as it's the only place we knew, its been in our family for over 50 years. The rooms on the ground floor are large and light. The room at the front was our dining room and accommodated quite a few people, useful for the many family gatherings we held here. The living room at the rear is quiet and peaceful and overlooks the garden which we loved spending time in. The kitchen, also overlooking the garden was our Mum's pride and joy. On the first floor the hidden showers in the two main bedrooms were very useful for a growing family in addition to the main bathroom, and also meant games of hide and seek went up a notch. The house is in a fantastic location, Local shops and parks are very close by but its also close enough to walk (or run) to Crystal Palace park. The parking space and porch were additions our parents made quite a few years before they were needed but are really essential now. This house is a place full of happy memories for us, hopefully the new owners can make many more here.
