Having read through the posts on this website and other forums on the net, I painfully realise what horrible people Oliver Knights are. I fell into their trap a few months back when all their financial issues seem to have started (around April). I transferred a holding deposit of £500 to one of their agents (Dina Abassi I believe was her name) for a flat to rent. The agent assured me that the deposit would be refunded in a few days as I had not viewed the apartment yet. On viewing the apar... read full review
What agent could do to change your mind?
This agent is a total fraud! They swallowed a whole lot of money from both landlords and tenants and then just refused to talk about to them or return the money. They should be jailed ad its a shame their office was open till early this month because their staff were busy trapping more poor souls.
AVOID THIS LETTING AGENT.
Oliver Knights took over £7,000 from my son and student friends they paid towards renting a house in Lewisham. Oliver Knights made up a story about a problem with the bank and that the money had to be paid into a different account to move into the property. The money was never paid to the Landlords. Oliver Knights have been aggressive and lied many times when trying to contact them. Now they won't pick up the phone.... read full review
I am a non UK resident who owns property in London. Oliver-Knights contacted me last year regarding a potential tenant, Tulip Hotels, who wished to take a 3 year lease on my apartment. The contracts were duly signed by ourselves but before occupation I received a further AST for the same period and with the same conditions. This contract was signed by Oliver-Knights on my behalf by persons unknown to me and noted a new with a new tenant. When I queried this I was informed that the new tenant was... read full review
Comment on agent fees
I have paid an upfront commission on a three year rental contract for less than a years actual occupation.
The agent displayed total lack of care and regard for my property and breached our contract when he let my apartment to a male tenant of whom he knew that he was subletting. I believe that he also knew that the man was setting up brothels in the properties he rented from him. The agent has taken his full year's fee from the first month rent and from the dilapidation deposit. I had to evict the tenant soon after and requested that the agent returns the let fee to me. Although promises were made t... read full review
The above name Aruna James I find him very consistent with his calls; many times I have told him I'm not interested in his cold callings. He didn't evan know the answer to one of the questions I asked him.
This agent is a cow boy agent who really need to train their staff properly.... read full review
Took a lot of details from me in order for me to ask if a property was available (current address, email, phone number).
Details provided about the property were incorrect.
Never called back, however unwanted spam calls from various financial institutions started on the same day. I would like my details removed from the database. Thanks.... read full review
