After having dealt with Douglas & Gordon twice, it is not surprising to me that the Daily Telegraph referred to them as one of the best estate agents in Britain. All the letting agents I have had the pleasure of dealing with were genuinely friendly, available and never pushy or appearing desperate to break a deal, which is hugely refreshing!... It was a particular joy to be guided by Kitty Bilborough as she assisted me in making an offer to rent my new beautiful flat. She is naturally friendly and upbeat but also extremely honest and clear in how she communicated with me, promptly explaining the terms and conditions regarding the holding deposit and the agency's fees and all the options I had, before proceeding with anything. She showed outstanding professional conduct and was always available to help, even taking the opportunity to give me advice on how to reclaim the holding deposit that another agency maliciously wouldn't refund to me - as a result, I ended up filing a complaint with that agency and got my money back. Thanks to Kitty and the team at Douglas & Gordon, the entire negotiating process ran very smoothly and I was always well looked after, even after moving in to the flat. The service that Douglas & Gordon provides is 5 star, the best I've ever had in 10 years of dealing with estate agencies. Highly recommended!

Kitty Bilborough was our agent on the flat in which we recently moved, and she made every step of the process cheerful, clear, and transparent. The letting staff who showed us the property were professional and helpful but that is where it ended The documentation lady patronizing.
