The worst management company we have ever come across. They ignore their obligations in the lease, do not respond to letters or emails, do no repairs/maintenance to property despite high management service charges. We are now consulting a lawyer to take them to court, perhaps only then will they will take their role seriously and we will see justice done.

25 Apr 2018This company is now called SDL PROPERTY MANAGEMENT The same problems continue.They do not respond to emails, take no notice of Leases to maintain the building in the required time, therefore exteriors run into disrepair and then need thousands of pounds to correct, with excess bills to flat owners. Very high maintenance fees with nothing being done. Complaint procedure and Ombudsman gets you nowhere, found its a waste of time. as it takes a lifetime to fill out many forms and copies of all communications with little result. Only solution is if all flat owners get together and instruct a solicitor for court action. Keep all communications or lack of it and record everything. We manage another block of flats as a Right to Manage but it is a lot of work, but all the service charges have made a huge difference to the block and we have money in the bank. I will never buy another flat that is managed by SDL Property Management. BEWARE

CP/SDL Bigwood are a nightmare. Constant repair invoices coming through the post which surely should be covered by the buildings insurance.
