The property we rented from The Frost Partnership was in a disgusting state when we first moved in. I waited outside for 45 to meet the landlady for an inventory check but she never turned up, finally one of the Frost employees came to give me a set of keys and quickly drove off again. The drains were blocked and the toilet seat was broken, they told us to fix it ourselves and send any receipts to the landlord who then refused to pay because we didn't ask permission first. There was a cracked window, broken blind, dirty wet shower curtain left on the floor, dust everywhere and damp patches on the walls. They told us it would be unfurnished but dirty damaged furniture was there when we arrived. We reported everything to Frost on many occasions but no action was taken for SIX MONTHS until someone came to take photos and write a formal report and still nothing was done to rectify any problems. It astonishes us that Frost think it acceptable to rent an almost unhabitible property such as that one and deal with landlords who breach almost all clauses of their contracts.

16 Oct 2018Having looked into the details on your file, I can see that we had booked a check in and inventory for your tenancy which would have detected the issues you report. Unfortunately, this was cancelled by the landlord the day before you were due to move in. The landlord informed us that she would carry out her own check in with you instead, but failed to turn up for this. We were therefore asked to attend, take meter readings and provide you with keys. The maintenance issues were not instantly apparent, although you reported them later that day. These were immediately relayed to the landlord who, after repeated requests, refused to remedy them. Unfortunately without the landlord's permission we are unable to proceed with repairs. As soon as the landlords' intentions became apparent we advised you to give notice on the tenancy. We have also terminated our contract with this landlord and will not deal with her again. We are extremely disappointed to hear of your discomfort. There were genuine maintenance issues that needed to be carried out but the landlord refused, despite numerous requests from us. Whilst this does not make up for your negative experience in renting this property, I hope you can see that we have taken steps to ensure this does not happen to future tenants.

These guys are total con artists. I rented a flat for a year and was considering extending. The rent was already high for the postcode and then they tried to up it further, claiming it was the Landlord's decision. The Landlord lived in America and was on a hugely different time zone yet... I rented a one bedroom apartment in Slough with frost and from day one it was a joke. Pooja took us to the property, she was bored, not interested and rushed us. We still took the place anyways. There was no problems for about 9 months, this was because there was no issues until then. Issue... Read Full Review
