These guys are total con artists. I rented a flat for a year and was considering extending. The rent was already high for the postcode and then they tried to up it further, claiming it was the Landlord's decision. The Landlord lived in America and was on a hugely different time zone yet somehow managed to quickly inform them he had agreed to freeze the rent when I refused the increase. But the worst part was the inventory check-out. They sent a different woman to the one that did the check-in, and she confessed that she only does inventory checks for them these days on an ad-hoc basis as âshe was taught by the bestâ....it was like watching the FBI investigate a murder scene. She examined everything, which would of been fine, had the check-in lady bothered to do the same. They hit me with a massive set of charges for damages that were 95% pre-existing. They even tried to charge for the one lot of damage that was captured at check-in - some stiletto indents to the wooden floor at the main entrance. When I queried this I was told that the Landlord would halve this charge. I offered to pay it in full if the check-out lady could give me a reasonable explanation as to how she thinks these marks are in addition to the pre-existing ones...and they promptly backed down & removed the charge completely!! They tried their luck at every corner, trying to squeeze me for every penny. Scumbags

The property we rented from The Frost Partnership was in a disgusting state when we first moved in. I waited outside for 45 to meet the landlady for an inventory check but she never turned up, finally one of the Frost employees came to give me a set of keys and quickly drove off again. The drains were blocked and the toilet seat was broken, they told us to fix it ourselves and send any receipts to the landlord who then refused to pay because we didn't ask permission first. There was a cracked window, broken blind, dirty wet shower curtain left on the floor, dust everywhere and damp patches on the walls. They told us it would be unfurnished but dirty damaged furniture was there when we arrived. We reported everything to Frost on many occasions but no action was taken for SIX MONTHS until someone came to take photos and write a formal report and still nothing was done to rectify any problems. It astonishes us that Frost think it acceptable to rent an almost unhabitible property such as that one and deal with landlords who breach almost all clauses of their contracts.

Having looked into the details on your file, I can see that we had booked a check in and inventory for your tenancy which would have detected the issues you report. Unfortunately, this was cancelled ...

My wife and I recently sold our house in Burnham through The Frost Partnership. We have nothing but praise for their dedication, courtesy and honesty during what was a period of stress for us. We were given immediate feedback of any comments made by prospective buyers. We originally bought a house in Burnham Lane through Frost's, 38 years ago and were impressed by their commitment then. They promote your property as a "Home" not as structure,
We have no reservation in recommending them to future clients.
We wish Mark Andy, Gill and Wendy a happy and prosperous 2018.New year

I rented a one bedroom apartment in Slough with frost and from day one it was a joke. Pooja took us to the property, she was bored, not interested and rushed us. We still took the place anyways. There was no problems for about 9 months, this was because there was no issues until then.
Issue number 1: lightbulb ceiling holders were screwed on too tight. After emailing Arandeep several times as well as Pooja I finally got a response and her response was that the previous tenants never reported it. My response was yeah maybe because hey never needed to change the light bulb. Eventually I couldn't be asked with this hassle and hired someone to loosen them which cost me £150 for such a small job, they told me they were out on too tight and the paint glued it to the ceiling.
Issue number 2: kitchen sink would leak when water was running. This is due to the washer wearing out. I informed Arandeep and again took a very long time to get a response. They said they would send someone out. I had three weeks of my tenancy left and I never saw the plumber at all. We were left with a broken sink for 3 weeks!. We left the property with a broken sink and I emailed them again to inform them that I reported the sink.
Issue number 3: check out was due for 12pm, at half past 1 I called frost and they said oh sorry we forgot to book you in for the inventory check. I said okay and handed back they keys to the Slough branch. A week later I got my inventory report. I was being charged £20 to remove balcony chairs and £60 to remove a wooden shelve. I responded and told them that these items were already there and I sent so many emails and even had to call Arandeep as I wasn't getting any response. When I didn't get a response when would deny it and tell me that it was not in the property. I did some digging and found the first inventory report for when we moved in. Proved to them that the items were already in the property and then finally sent me a correct inventory. I was due my deposit back which I finally got but again another problem. They were £91 short! I've emailed Arandeep and still waiting on a response!
Frost is a joke, the staff need to wake up because they are by far the worst agency I've been with! I don't know maybe Arandrep is over worked? or maybe she needs some assistance? or maybe it was just the landlords taking absolutely ages to respond to her. Whatever it is they need to sort it out!

First class service from all in the branch. Especially from Wendy Taylor on the house lettings. Honest and fair . I have confidence as a landlord that she finds the right tenant for my properties , is always very pleasant . She looks after the tenants keeping them happy but always looking out for my interests as a landlord. I couldn't recommend more highly the Burnham Frost letting office, especially Wendy Taylor.
