The staff at the Flackwell Heath branch showed us round a house that had already been sold STC. We were very disappointed with the member of staff who showed us around and the more senior staff who we spoke to at the Flackwell Heath branch. The Saturday boy who showed us around told us that there had been interest in the property but no bids... When contacting the office on the Monday we were told that the property had already been sold but the vendor wanted to honour the viewings.... Not sure what's honourable about showing people around a house that's already been sold. Surely that's dishonourable if anything? We liked the property so we asked the staff if we could table a higher bid than the one that had been agreed on the property but she said that it's all gone too far down the road now, we have the solicitor's details and everything. She also lied about when the deal was agreed with the purchasers. Firstly saying it was on the Friday, then it was on the Monday. She constantly changed her story. I feel sorry for the vendors who could've sold their house for over the asking price.
