DO NOT USE I will summarise the good and bad points. Good Found a decent tenant in a short space of time. (And this is the only good point) Bad Harassed my tenant with "offers" for Internet and home insurance the minute he moved in They hold the rent as long as possible to earn interest on your money. (In one instance it took 10 days from the day my tenant paid, I know this as speak to him directly) Don't return phone calls Lost the keys they had for my property Don't visit when they are contractually obliged to The blatantly lie as have no idea what they are doing Charge you for absolutely anything they can with some things hidden in the terms of business. These should be pointed out but aren't. Advised HMRC the incorrect amount earned, which they charge £18 for the priviledge Do not get back to my tenant when he leaves messages for them I speak to my tenant regularly as Hetheringtons don't bother. He told me if it was down to Hetheringtons he would have stopped paying the rent. FIND A BETTER AGENT THIS LOT ARE TERRIBLE

Avoid at all costs! Hetherington's made me assurances and did not keep to their word, lying to cover their inadequacies. This agency is poor. They have no idea on renting, no communication with the customers, not answering the phone,not to answer on emails completely lack of respect We were with Hetheringtons over few years they cannot even arrange a plumber to fix a leaking boiler Now we go with them to court...
