Having had a bad experience with another Estage Agent in Chorleywood, Kate and her team at Hetheringtons picked up the pieces. They have been wonderful. Thoroughly professional but with great kindness and friendliness. They kept me fully informed and were constantly in touch. Kate and Chris were so on the ball as were the other members of her team, young Tom and Michelle. They are in a class of their own in Chorleywood.

Hetheringtons found a buyer for our property in 3 weeks when a previous agent produced not even an offer in the preceeding 11 weeks, in the more favoured August and September months. Their service throughout was professional and they were very efficient in following up the not incosiderable problems we
faced prior to exchange of contracts.
How we wish we had approached Hetheringtons first, instead of the other agent.

Having narrowed our search area down to the Chipperfield area we arranged to view a property that we had found on the internet through Hetheringtons. At the viewing, Chris showed us particulars of other properties that he thought we might be interested in. These properties had been thoughtfully selected and were not just the details of everything vaguely in our price range! We arranged to view several of these houses in Chorleywood and subsequently put an offer in which was accepted. Throughout the purchase process, Chris kept us regularly updated on progress with our purchase and the onward move of our sellers. The purchase went through quickly and smoothly and I'm sure this was due in large part to the attentiveness of Chris.

Michelle introduced us to the property as she felt it was a good match with what we were looking for. Kate steered the negotiations. His attention to detail and timing became critical when the completion date was moved to before Christmas and then the deeds mislaid! All staff are knowledgable, cheerful and courteous. Hetheringtons proved themselves to be invaluable in the sale of my property, right from the start, when I was in two minds about selling, their guidance and pressure free service convinced me to go through with a sale. The viewings were always regular and even when my first buyer couldn't complete, within a month they had found me another buyer. Moving house will always be a stressful undertaking, but the exemplary service given by Kate, Chris and Tom made it as pain free as possible. Their interaction with over-zealous conveyancers also proved to be a blessing!
