I was a tenant with Person Ferrier for around a year and a half from October 2012-March 2014 at a property in Tottington/Bury in that time i was disgusted with the unprofessional attitude displayed towards me and my partner from the Ramsbottom branch, In September 2013 the boiler at the property packed inn and broke down, I contacted the office and they gave me a number for the landlords own plumber who didn't show up on the date arranged by my partner who took the day of work and stayed in to wait for him, on contacting the plumber to arrange a weekend visit he told us he didn't work weekends so we contacted the office again to arrange another plumber who took 4 week to come round and tell us that we needed a new boiler. We waited another 2 month for the plumber to come back and fit a new boiler and in this time we was contacting the office on a regular basis for a date even speaking to the head man Julian who seemed to just want to argue with me rather than do anything to resolve the problem. All in all they left us over 5 MONTHS! without any central heating over the winter months. Here comes the best bit, when the plumber did finally arrive it was a different 'cowboy' plumber who didn't mount the boiler correctly and was also rude to me. Please beware of this company, after looking at this website it seems i am not the only tenant who has been treated in this manner by the the Ramsbottom branch, they have put me through probably one of the most stressful years of my life.
What agent could do to change your mind?
They could of acted in a professional manner and resolved the problem as quick as possible, they seemed to busy to deal with me and dismissed me numerous times.

12 May 2014Joseph - I've just noticed your review, I am amazed you have taken the time and such effort to complain. If you recall the calls and conversations with the office were you failed to be in on pre-arranged appointments, the time we had to call your mother as you didn't answer your mobile repeatedly and then changed it without advising us of the new number, the other time you called the office and spoke to Caroline in a an incredibly rude and foul mouthed rant - if you had made as much of an effort to help us arrange these repairs perhaps it would have been different - you can always call or email at the Ramsbottom office, not Holcombe Brook as you have reviewed, as this closed in 2008 - kind regards Julian Ferrier

I do not like opting negative reviews as I know companies work hard to gain good reputation, however Pearson Ferrier are terrible in every way, they deliberately under value houses to gain commissions, they refuse to join the voluntary estate agent good practice code. I rented a property through Pearson Ferrier last year. The agent told me the house did not have an allocated parking space - it did.
