I recently purchased my new home from Pearson Ferrier's Prestwich branch. The service I received from Stuart and his team was exceptional from start to finish. This was by no means a straightforward purchase and I was so impressed with how Stuart constantly went above and beyond his remit to get this purchase over the line. I can easily say that Pearson Ferrier are the most professional dedicated estate agents I have ever dealt with and would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who is looking on selling or purchasing a property.

Having dealt with one of their competitors previously, I must say Pearson Ferrier have been extremely professional throughout this whole process and I will highly recommend them to anybody. Veronique has been great throughout dealing with the prestwich branch. Adam dealt with us for the final day of our tenancy and returning the keys. Despite handing the keys in at 9 am and asking to do this at the rental property so that we could do the final inspection together, I was told to just drop them off at the office. He then proceeded to do an inspection later on that day where I could have been with him and then stated that the property was in an unlivable condition despite it looking exactly the way it did when we moved in. Not happy with the service from him at all. Delayed communication due to him not phoning back and me having to chase him. They didn't follow the quarterly inspections as they should have done and we only got one in the 18 months that we lived there for. Will not recommend this branch to anybody or will I ever consider using them again

Myself and my partner approached Pearson Ferrier in the second half of November 2013 looking to view a property that had just arrived on the market to let. We were able to get a viewing arranged for 5pm on a week day which was the only time I was able to view properties due to work arrangements.
We were met by Adam Whyte who was courteous and honest about the property and made us feel 'right at home'. We discussed our reservations with Adam upfront and he reassured us in a confident and truthful manner.
I have been lead down a path by previous letting agents who are out to simply stuff a square peg into a round hole, but I did not get that feeling with Pearson Ferrier. Myself and my partner left feeling like we have made the decision to rent the property rather than being forced into making a decision 'there and then' for fear that someone would beat us to the punch.
I would recommend anyone to use Pearson Ferrier in the future as I've had very few issues and all the teething problems related to renting a property have been dealt with quickly and in a professional manner.

Firstly I was told that the current occupier was paying a rental 20% higher than they actually were and then, when asking if certain information relating to the safety of the electricity and gas and to the windows was available, I was told it had been given to my lawyers. None of this was true.

I can only say stay away from these people. I was buying a property through them and was given false information on three occasions. None of this was true.
I was also told that the current owner insisted I had to exchange contracts by a certain date or they would pull out. My lawyers checked with the vendors lawyers, who informed them that this was not the case at all. It was just another way of putting pressure on me to get the deal done without verifying the real facts.

Where can I start? As an overseas landlord I have had a complete nightmare with Pearson Ferrier. They cancelled appointments and told prospective tenants the property had been let when it had not. They did not chase tenants when rent was not paid. They did not do an inventory when the property was let. They did not fix items I had approved to be fixed - it took them 6 weeks to get a quote for something that they said was not a big job, and when I finally got a quote I had to go through my insurance as it was a massive job. It took them 8 months to fix a problem, I approved two different repairs in that time, neither were done, then as I kicked up a fuss they made a shoddy repair that I did not approved and they took the money out of the rent without telling me. On reporting my problems to Mr Ferrier all he siad was - maybe we should part ways!! There is more - but I don't have all day - I am going to the ombudsman about them. DO NOT USE THEM
