Not bad. I viewed the property after following up on two phone calls to the agency which unfortunately weren't returned, and made an offer at the full asking price based on several conditions I needed approved before signing. Referencing was a bit painful - although my record is not as continuous as I would like it to be for a long time Londoner, this has not proven to be an issue for my previous two Estate Agencies and their Referencing agencies. It turned out to be a real sticking point here. Anyhow; once approved, I did find myself having to chase many times on next steps in the process. Not really what a prospective tenant in full-time employment should be spending his or her time doing during the working day, to be honest - the agency does need a bit of a push to keep things in motion. Otherwise, fairly sound procedure on getting eveything in order for the moving date.

My experience with selling my flat with Goldsmith and Howland Estate Agents. WhenI decided to move, my son researched which Estate companies were best. And two were recommended. I met the representatives of each and was more inclined to give my flat to sell to Daniel Harris who seemed both... Read Full Review

Goldschmidts have a good reputation but the service in the Hampstead office was far from good as noone ever returns calls and when you do all the properties they advertise are ‘Just Let'! Their management was also very poor and the nail in the coffin was that they took 4 months to return our ... Read Full Review

An agent at G&H represented the landlord of a flat that my wife and 2 small children rented just over a year ago. I assume that G&H has some internal procedure whereby they ensure a property is up to some minimum standard before taking on a landlord client. If they had, they would have... Read Full Review
The lettings agent could have simply responded to our queries in an honest manner; ignoring is never an acceptable option for even a lettings agent.

Goldschmidt & Howland have been, at every step of the way, very unwilling to help or follow through with promises. They have cost us money, time, and stress. Examples of this include: outright lying regarding 3 separate issues, after our offer was put in and money was on the table. As well, they... Read Full Review

We had our flat on for sale with them but eventually sold privately. Very very professional and cannot fault at all. From initial valuation, to managing viewings and providing running commentary throughout - impeccable. In a class apart from other... Read Full Review

9 Jul 2014Hi Mike Firstly, thank you for the feedback. We always appreciate clients taking the time to get in touch with us, or leave us reviews. We have regular planned updates to the system that add...
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
