The estate agent Maria Ponte, advised us to reduce our selling price by 50,000 she assured us by doing this We wouldstir up a bidding frenzy in her experience we should achieve a respectable 280,000 What then happened was we had an offer given for 200,000 which she thought was acceptable .When I questioned her sanity. She became verbally vicious, aggressive pompous And attacked the standaerd of our new build property. Which was not true. I asked her even if it had a couple of finishing faults such as no carpets did she warrant a 95,000 Drop, she said well that's the market. I beg anyone reading this do not useRettie
She could have been honest and not tried to get a sale at any price She should look at her attitude towards her clients and worked for us not against Us, we were vulnerable, and ended up accepting a very poor deal, but you beta yhen agents got their money.

Rettie lettings avoid it like the plague, i wish i could give them -1 stars as the service was so poor. We thought they were the best and we were happy to pay stress free service, instead we had the property vacant months and lost quite a lot of money felt snubbed by so called “portfolio agents”... Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
