Top Class standard of service with continuing support, help and advice. The whole team at Melrose are always welcoming and knowledgeable no matter when you phone - nothing is too much trouble. Very importantly, always finding different opportunities for marketing properties to give the best exposure and keeping costs to a minimum. Very Good follow up and feedback after viewings. Extremely supportive and patient during low times. Cannot thank them enough for everything especially Tony and the amount of time he gave - superb

I have put my property up for sale in February and the first problem was the signeage was poor and mini signs at end of lane , yes a lane and when i phoned to question the poor sign was told that normal signs were not preferred by the council,, this is at a dead end street and at the very end if... I have put my property up for sale in February and the first problem was the signeage was poor and mini signs at end of lane , yes a lane and when i phoned to question the poor sign was told that normal signs were not preferred by the council,, this is at a dead end street and at the very end if this lane. after a month the sign fell down ,I called Retties at Melrose and requested a normal size sign was told they would do this no sign has been replaced ,also when i called to have sign replaced was told there was a viewing on the following Sunday, still not heard if the viewer came , no contact whatsoever No communication and very poor service, if you are intending selling your property i would mnot advise Retties.

We were serious customers, having bought our next (new) house through another Retties . Our house is very saleable. We had a visit from the Melrose surveyor who confirmed this. He had already promised to e-mail his details to us before he came, but didn't. He looked over our house, understood our personal situation (not very complicated or unusual) and left, promising contact by e-mail and then post within 24 hours. We thought this a bit unrealistic and did not query it until we had heard nothing 5 days later. At this point we e-mailed him making it clear that we were most unhappy at his firm's utter silence. Nothing has happened since and we are selling elsewhere.
