[[EDIT ORIGINAL START]] Having rented a property via Edinburgh spaces for the Edinburgh festival I have never dealt with such lying unprofessional incompetent people. The property was a disgrace breaching contract and we had to spend hours cleaning it ourselves as Ed spaces didn't answer the 24 hour emergency phone! We saw the owner Michael by chance walking to the shop to buy bedding and cleaning products and were feed a pack of lies and told to buy what we needed and they would refund us. It took over 5 weeks to get our deposit money back after 13 emails and 10 phone calls, we never received an apology for the disgraceful treatment. It took a further 2 weeks to get the £94 we had paid for bedding and cleaning products refunded after they tried to wriggle out of this responsibility with more lies and trying to ignore our complaint. They should not be able to trade, their contempt towards us was un believable and I have never known such shocking service, we even had to threaten protesting outside their branch to get any response Please keep away from these cowboys. Edinburgh Spaces sucks! Chris D***son and Michael Young are unprofessional and, worst of all, liars. In this agency communication does not exist. I have used Edinburgh Spaces as a landlord for over five years now. They are a motivated and expert team. I recommend them highly to both letter and tenant. The most unprofessional agency in the UK! The house that we rented was filthy and we had to clean it ourselves since the cleaning crue never arrived.
