Taylors became the lettings agent at my house following the departure of the landlord. In the 2 years before they were eventually sacked by my landlord they have provided the most appalling service I've received from any company. To list a few errors; they changed our energy provider without notifying us resulting in termination fees and extortionate rates from the new provider. They listed the billing address as their own HQ so we were none the wiser until 8 months of unpaid energy resulted in bailiffs turning up at our door. Their maintenance is horrendous. If you call them they say they will call you back but to date no one has returned a single one of my calls. The staff and management are the most incompetent individuals I have had the misfortune to deal with - no one ever has any idea what is going on. I have had to argue that work had not been completed on my bathroom following delays of two months, despite my assurances that no one had attended without us noticing. I can honestly say that I have not once had a conversation with an employee of Taylors where a single thing they say will get done, has actually been done. All information they provide is inconsistent with the last time you spoke to them. My landlord tried to put the rent up but they forgot to put it in our contract. They charged �240 for each new tenant to be added to the contract. An extractor fan with a 30 second time delay was requested to help with damp, instead they removed the original 10 second delay extractor and put in one without a delay. Despite advising them of this error several times it has never been changed. It's two months since my landlord sacked them and they still have our full deposit. I was advised 10 days ago that it would be in my account in five days. I'm not one to leave negative reviews but I truly feel I need to ensure no one has the extreme stress that me and my landlord have had with taylors. We have a running joke that they are either a farce, running a sketch show or actually maliciously trying to make everyone's lives awful.
