I recently went through the nightmare of selling my property through Martyn Gerrard in Kentish Town. Anthony Wilkinson-Denny was my main contact. Very little feedback from any viewings, overvalued my property just to get it on the market, not one phone call/email to keep me updated on progress after the sale was agreed! Don't be fooled by the letters after his name - he is totally unscrupulous when it comes to pushing low offers on you and furthermore, lied on several occasions to try and get the deal agreed and exchanged far sooner than I or my buyer had agreed to. He was aggressive, rude, patronising, and is a proven liar. To add insult to injury, he disclosed some of my personal details to the buyer. My advice: Do not use this estate agent under any circumstances for buying or selling, Anthony Wilkinson-Denny is a shark who is only after his portion of commission. There are much better agents locally who I have since discovered e.g. Duke Herzog just up the road on Fortess Rd who were a delight to deal with.
Above average and certainly not good value for money.

Completely misleading information given during the viewing by the agent. He told us the Landlord would have accepted easily 125£ less than the asking rent price and provided some furniture if reasonable requests. He also told us the flat was available within 2 weeks from the visit. We... Read Full Review

We rented the property through Martyn Gerrard, the experience up to move in was pretty poor but the standard of London estate agents. Slow with contract and responding to anything. When things got really bad was when we moved in, we were provided with one set of keys between the two tenants and... Read Full Review

Worse agency I've ever dealt with! First of all I asked a couple of times the agent if the flat was managed by the agency receiving an affermative answer. We had positive past experience with another agency and preferred not to deal with landlords. Turns out the flat is not managed by the... Read Full Review

I was dealing with Christian from Kentish Town. Unprofessional from the start, didnt reply to emails, was unreachable on phone. I was in the process of letting, and after 3 weeks, and my references had been paid for plus first weeks rent held by them in addition to 6 months rent, plus another 6... Read Full Review
Bad - took our money then had to refund. Made ridiculous deadlines that they couldn't even stick to themselves!

Oh dear: a chapter of disasters; starting with Anna calling in sick half an hour before the viewing time (bacon saved on this occasion by Lauren coming to the rescue), continuing through inadequate floor plans (no dimensions; not added even after we pointed this out) and culminating in our being... They did manage to sell my property to a cash purchaser, but offered no guidance or support in buying, even when all they had to do was tell other agents what a good purchaser I was, in one case an agent next door to their offices. Eventually I lost my purchaser, and said that it was the... Read Full Review
I expected them to show an interest in setting up a chain with me at the bottom. I expected them to offer my flat to someone on their waiting list, to move forward slowly They relied only in the Internet portals then had 6 people in in one day..one offering, but apparently no one else. The presentation of the offer lacked gravitas, in part because the staff are too young.. I needed to find some where to move to..the cash purchaser was good, but in a hurry, and in today\'s market a first time buyer wold have been a better bet given the difficulty in finding somewhere to go to wrong buyer, poorly managed, by young staff who are in it for a quick kill with no idea of service..
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
