Douglas & Gordon are quite literally the worst estate agent I have ever encountered in my decades of living in London. They are incompetent and lazy and useless, which is pretty much the worst combination you can find. I live in a property managed by Douglas & Gordon. They were very responsive until we signed the contact. Then we finally moved in only to find that their property management people had for example - hired contractors who painted walls without even bothering to use paint that matched other walls in the room. Also, there were issues with the home that meant that it broke rules on the state of a property you can hand over to a tenant. It's not like our rent is cheap either, we are paying a very tidy sum on par with rentals in the area. I'd never use them again and would urge other Londoners to avoid them as well. This agency's existence is the very reason why regulations for this industry need to be strengthened significantly, because they are quite literally a bunch of clowns.
