Shocking service. No contact unless they want something. Shocking service. No contact unless they want something. I was in a serious situation and had to involve the police and the agents still refused to answer simple emails from myself but I could see them responding occasionally (only when they wanted something) to my ex partner. Maintenance was paid for and we never received any kind. Absolutely appalled by the service. It’s clear they only care about the business and not the comfort of their tenants. Good luck trying to contact them and good luck with the empty promises.

Where do I even start?!
We were renting for 11 months whilst we saved for our house. Sonya from Stourbridge was really helpful when we first moved in. Everything was fine. Then all the problems started...
We had very troublesome neighbours. Home point told us they would be out within 2 months.. 5 months later they were still there causing problems. They would continuously ignore emails. Their customer service seriously needs some improvements.
They would only call when suited them.. we had someone to come and fix our boiler but then never returned to finish the job. The lady who would call to arrange viewings would call on the same day to tell me (not ask me) tell me that people are coming to view that very same evening, I got the house all ready and they didn't even turn up!
I am still waiting for our deposit back and it's been nearly 3 weeks! I've had so much rubbish fed to me to delay the process it is unreal.
My star goes to Steve at the Stourbridge office who is the only person who seems to have a clue what's going on and some good customer skills.
Other than that! Appalling!!
Avoid at ALL costs! Don't fall into the trap!!

Really disgusted with the service received after, what we thought, was a fairly smooth 2 1/2 years as tenants ( although slow at sorting none urgent repairs).

Really disgusted with the service received after, what we thought, was a fairly smooth 2 1/2 years as tenants ( although slow at sorting none urgent repairs).
When it came to the end of the tenancy they didn't turn up for check out inspection ( despite me speaking to them on the morning about it). Didn't return any calls about this either on the day whilst we waited at the property for over an hour and a half for them or for a week after the supposed check out date. They then tried to say due to this we could be charged extra rent!!
This led to issues with the landlord and deposit being returned - we tried to open a dispute to get our deposit back to be told Homepoint had moved our deposit protection without informing us in 2016!! - despite several requests they would not tell us who they had moved our deposit protection to.
It took a formal letter of intent to start court action, plus 4-5 phone calls per day citing legal advice to eventually get our deposit back. By the time the cheque cleared we had waited over a month ( instead of the 10 days) for our deposit back and still do not know if they actually protected our deposit or not ( which is breech of the deposit protection laws so we may still make a claim through court ).
Paul runs both Walsall and Stourbridge offices and uses this as an excuse to be continually unavailable - he also stated numerous times our deposit was being sent out and it was not. He says one thing to the landlord and another to the tenant. Our landlord had inforrmed him to return the deposit to us, but he continued to avoid doing so for over a week and then sent a cheque rather than bank transfer. Not trustworthy at all.
