Incompasionate, and ruthless! , tenancy nightmares! Treated shocking, personal grudge by property manager for asking them to fix issues! Next thing I was served notice! No reason after a decade of tenancy ! ..... throughout my tenancy shocking property management anti social behaviour ignored , sub letting , restuarant below dumping oil food down drains tenants blamed baby wipes ! Extractor fan on roof served notice by council then told for new nuisance nothing they can do !!! , i even had chemo during tenancy and when poorly I was told i was not paying my rent !!! but i was !!!!! Same mistakes keep happening! was told in a email deal with the anti social behaviour and rest below myself and numerous issues. Property Management untouchable and smug even if you complain answer for everything ! ! They are the worse agency by far in Essex! Avoid only staff member who has a heart there charlie edwsrds ! . Considering what action to take as treated so badly !!!! Shocking

Lack of communication , apology and took until Tuesday to give a reason why a landlord did not turn up Saturday at 4.30 pm to do a viewing of an apartment ! The reason why is baffling and not even to have decency to turn up to show the apartment or to say sorry im going to consider someone else !... Read Full Review

Really !!! Will never contact any of their letting properties in the future

Terrible experience, was left with a feeling of discrimination because we aren’t British So we found a house for rent on their website and my partner called them to book a viewing( they had no pics on the website just with the front of the house) We barely managed to get an appointment after many calls , each time we were given different excuses ( Blaming the actual tenant that she doesn’t want anyone in the house yet while she is there) Every time my partner was given a new excuse , then I called and I asked if the house is on the market or not and said to them that we are interested in the house but we can’t be kept on hold for ever and that if we cannot see the house we will go for other properties cause we will not wait for any more longer and suddenly in 10-15 minutes they were able to book an appointment When I called I was given total different reasons then what my partner was told so from the start everything was weird. We managed to see the house , the tenant , a very nice lady showed us around , she told us very clear that what the agency said to us was total lie and that she had nothing against viewings We saw the house on a Saturday and we decided to take it so on a Monday morning first hour we called them to tell them we want to start the procedures and guess what again we be been put on hold ( wait a little bit to speak with the landlord, wait cause I didn’t get ahold of the landlord and so) The house was a 2 double bedroom detached bungalow, we were a family of 3, all working individuals with good jobs and over 90k annual income So we be been told to wait , then we are told that the landlord has more viewings even though we met all the requirements ( house was 1300 a month , we are 3 individuals with over 90 k incomes)and said we are taking the house and at the end to be told that they are giving the house to someone else , when I asked based on which criteria was this if we were first interested and they basically refused to start the paperwork and told to wait they said that the la lord decided based on number of people and I come , for his sake it was only a 1300 a month house with 2 double bedrooms and we were only 3 so for me from the start this sounded like DISCRIMINATION

Its only once you have signed are hilbury happpy to tell you that the landlords are a nightmare, and the chances of getting your deposit back is zero. They immediately try to scare you by happily sharing the horror stories of past tennants challenges and dont bother disputing anything as you will lose. Its an immediate answer, brush you off and to take no responsibilty themselves. They even have said "its business" but dont seem to care that the tenant may feel business does not mean there should be no morales. It could be seen as very very sly, underhand and i hate to say, but extremely "old school" agency tactics. If what they immediately say is true, its not good business to represent such bad landlords just for the sake of a buck. Been left feeling utterly sitched up (as well as out of pocket)

Janet Roberts is a rude and unhelpful lady. I am told she is the only person who looks after prosperty management, 1 member of staff! How is that possible? She is never available to take a call, plus she never responds to any messages. When you do speak to her (normally just by luck, ringing and she answers) she didn't like it when I finally got her on the phone and instead of helping and having answers to all our issues she is just rude and nasty! I will be telling people about my expierience with this awful lettings and management department and advising everyone to stay away!
