I have used FW at Stanway for a while now and have been pretty satisfied with the level of service and fees.
I was recently contacted by Kayleigh Kent in relation to a washing machine that was past its best - to her credit, Kayleigh had researched a selection of replacements that we could select from, saving us a fair amount of time in the process. The costs were competitive and comprehensive.
We are both busy people and found this extra level of service extremely helpful to us.

Fenn Wright in short are scammers! Unfounded and try to get as much as they can.They do not care 1 jot about the tenants until the end of the tenancy when they try to obtain money dishonestly

Fenn Wright in short are scammers!
Upon renting a property from them we paid 12 months in advance after living abroad for 15 years.Even so they insisted on completing references and a credit check.An inventory was also completed-I mean completed in the loosest terms.Have asked for copies of the credit check and references but basically have been supplied with a checklist.Very very vague and it is apparent very little was done for the fee.Things from the inventory were raised on 2 occasions and totally ignored notably a carpet which was cleaned with a golden retriever and windows cleaned by Stevie Wonder with water from a septic tank.
Upon exiting the property Fenn Wright knock up a few figures out of thin air,throw them at you and see if they can get any of your hard earned from you.These figures go up and down depending on the e-mail,time of day etc-i have them if anyone wishes to read.£150 for a checkout which i have no doubt the new tenant pays for a replica copy but they did take 3 weeks to do the checkout inspection after getting the end of the tenancy incorrect.
Things then that i complained about at the beginning were classed as "minor"however they aren't minor when they are trying to charge £100's of pounds to put these"minor"things right,which were right at the end of the tenancy but not at the beginning!
Their knowledge of the property was incorrect on many counts.They can't add 3 figures together and their calcultions are based on plucking figures out of the air.They have now retracted all of these amounts but now tring to hit me with 3 days rent and still the checkout fee.
Negligent,dishonest,fraudgelent and unproffesional and that is being polite.
If anyone wishes to view the correspondance i have on this case you are most welcome to view before you use Fenn Wright for any purpose.

Very disappointed in FW, expected much more from an established agent. Poor communication, a complete lack of desire to sell our property and no appetite to resolve issues we raised regarding their performance, more like a denial of any short comings on their part. Based on their charges, poor service, poor time keeping, lack of personal touch with buyers and eagerness to reduce our property price to under market value, this agent wants to get paid for doing as little as possible to earn their fee. They are a glorified reception service for potential buyers. With service as poor as this I can see why Purple Bricks is becoming so popular. We however prefer the personal touch of working with an agent, there are much better agents out there, avoid Fenn Wright. We provided 2 clear opportunities to resolve these issues, but from the tone and nature of response from the agents they had no intention of working with us to resolve our concerns. Moving to a new agent was our only solution.

Terrible company. I phoned with a issue they they told me I have to fix it myself, then a week later I receive a notice to leave the property they are like a pack of wolves and it's like you are backed into a corner! Terrible company. Terrible service. Fenn Wright have been nothing but incompetent from day 1. Extremely high fees for tenants for a terrible service and they can't answer half your questions when you call. Terrible service. Fenn Wright have been nothing but incompetent from day 1. Extremely high fees for tenants for a terrible service and they can't answer half your questions when you call. They gave the property to us in a very unclean state. Disgusting extractor fan, old food in the oven, dirty stains all over the carpet and curtains, disgusting soiled rags all left in the shed etc etc etc. Terrible. We have been waiting weeks for a resolution and nobody gets back to us. Definitely don't rent from them or use them to rent your property. I have rented off many agents over many years and never received such a terrible service before. Go somewhere else.

By far the best agent i have ever dealt with. We were selling our house through a different agent and buying through Fenn Wright. Fenn wright were the sole and only reason ourselves and the people selling their house proceeded to closure. My agent (HART) were unreachable and never returned phonecalls. Fenn Wright went above and beyond to make both sale and purchase happen...they did the majority of the work HART should have done. That was 2 years ago and we are selling our house once again....with Fenn Wright and though its early days they have dealt with us in the same way as previous. TOP NOTCH!!!!!!
