Don't ever use this terrible company to sell or buy. We went into the Cleveleys office to ask them to value our property to put on the market, we were met by an extremely unfriendly female who seemed intent on putting us off using them, she eventually took our phone number and said their valuer would be intouch, never heard a word so went with Entwistles whose valuer was very professional, we sold with them for the full asking price in 24hrs. We then saw 2 properties online in poultonwe wanted to view unfortunately with Farrell and Heyworth so we phoned, after taking 20 mins talking to what sounded like a 12 year old who asked the most ridiculous questions and didn't seem to know what property we were talking about said they would send us a virtual online tour and said, when we had viewed it that someone would phone to check if we still wanted to view. Needless to say, just like last time we wanted to view something, the email never arrived nor did the phone call. I phoned to speak to a manager but surprise surprise he wasn't available. Think twice before you give this useless company your house to sell

The worst estate agency I've dealt with in my many years of renting. Beginning with an extremely pushy, tactless salesman trying to sign us up to contents and income insurance/cover, using scare tactics such as 1 in 2 people get cancer in their lifetime ...quite unbelievable. Although I reported this incident and it was dealt with by the person's manager, on a wider scale we've experienced poor communication and terrible attitudes from employees, particularly in the Lancaster branch. I will be making sure I have minimal contact with the agency throughout my tenancy where possible.

Good fee deal. However irrelevant if the house isn't sold.

Well I had the misfortune of contacting FH regarding a property for sale in Broughton in June 2015, to be told it was already going through, then a month later back on the market, (this is hard to believe but this went on for over a year, that it was sold then it wasn't then it was etc, it was still on their web site until a couple of months ago Sept 2016) So made a offer on a property in Poulton on a sealed bid basis, FH never got back to me to let me know how my bid was, only on phoning, when I got the reply that a higher offer had been accepted, however the property come back on the market a couple of weeks later, only by chance that I seen it back up for sale, asked FH why had they not got in contact with me to make me aware it was back up for sale.(but no-one knew why) Agreed a figure for the purchase of a property, drove 248 miles to hand deliver documents to my solicitor, was told completion would only take a few weeks as it was a cash purchase, low and behold a couple of weeks later it was back on their web site re-advertised for sale, rang FH to ask what was going on, only to be told they had accepted a higher offer, its not the fact they accepted an additional offer it is purely FH did NOT contact me to make me aware. FH have been a complete nightmare to deal with, if it was not for the fact people contact THEM to sell their properties, FH would not survive on their own strength.

Wish I had read the reviews first. Communication virtually non existant. I thought a big north west specialist would have been more on the ball, sadly not. Going to move onto IMove , seems like they have 'sold boards all over the Fylde area. FH boasted of a sale every 45 minutes, it seems now it is every 3 hours, not great considering the amount of branches they have. They are meant to have an out of hours contact available, sadly no reply. Only given two stars instead of one because the branch staff are friendly, this is only on the couple of times I have visited the branch, they have NEVER spoken to me regarding my property.

What agent could do to change your mind?
They should start respecting people who gives them work and makes them money! highly disappointing!

I moved in at 15 of march. I had no light in bedroom, all furniture listed on agreement were faulty, washing machine didnt work, dishwasher didnt work and shower was broken. Also I had to clean everything on my own, cupboards inside was black, same goes for walls in toilet and bathroom, all windows in house were cleaned with dirty cloth that I had to rube them with my hand to see good through the window, It looked like someone cleaned them with water with milk or just the same cloth he/she was cleaning floor or toilet. I was waiting over 3 months for Lettings to fix my shower. They told me they wont fix my light until they finish shower "everything in row my dear, we will fix everything no worry" First guy came after like 2 weeks from my first call, looked on shower and left, 2nd person who came to see my shower after like 4 weeks from when I first called that that water is dropping down in hall on my stairs said its NOT a plumber/pipe work only cubic is broken and repairing pipes wont help in anyway and he left. I called Lettings after a week because non showed up to repair my shower and I told them what this guy said and what should be done. After few weeks they send me a PLUMBERS who took down all sealing on the stairs, carpet and wooden panels with out covering them to prevent dirt and scratches. He replaced PIPE! didnt even clear after them self just left me with 4h of cleaning and of course nothing was fixed! only thing I got was a lot of scratches on wooden panels and of course owner of house will cut it out of my bound. They didnt even finish and told me they will be back next day and I didnt see them anymore. After next 2 weeks they send another guys with SILICONE! of course again nothing helped. I called them again, like 10th time, and after more weeks of no hearings I went to their agency in Poulton and I spoken with lady who, next to me called Sue, working there lady who has to deal with this stuff, and told her its URGENT because a lady is well mad already. AND? non called me so after another week I went there again and the lady again called them and, because it was Saturday and non bother to work there at Saturday, she asked a guy to leave Sue message on the desk... 4 more days and NOTHING. Yesterday doors of shower felt out and I just called Council and Ill let them deal with Lettings. DISAPPOINTING!!! the worst agent I even had and I had few already. Do not recommend it to ANYONE!!! I am wonder if owner of my house had to pay for all of these fail repairs made by probably friends or family of Lettings members, just to make them some money for nothing. I am wonder who will pay for carpet and panels they scratched and who will repair stairs which are rotten from over 3 months of water dropping on them. shame... that these people still have their jobs. they do not even bother them self to call back, its lack of respect and we are making them money!
