Julia and her team at Dacres made what can be quite a stressful and difficult experience into one that was straightforward and simple throughout.
From the moment we contacted the Dacres team,to the moment that the house was sold,Julia and her team quite literally took away all the hassle that I had previously experienced with a house sale and yet kept me up to date on everything as and when required.
The valuation that Julia gave was accurate as was the time she said it would take for the house to sell ( less then two weeks )
I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Dacres to anyone who is looking to sell their homes quickly and for a realistic price .

The fees were very reasonable for the service we received. We had a really good relationship with everyone at the branch; all the staff were helpful and friendly, and had our interests at heart. The only negatives were that we received no glossy brochure of our property (as it was already very popular before it could be printed), and there was a bit of miscommunication about the for sale sign going up outside our house. Despite this, we would recommend Dacre, Son & Hartley without hesitation.

We have used several of the estate agents in Skipton over a period of years, including Dacres, and had no hesitation in choosing them again as their response was the most professional and prompt in responding to our request for valuation and sale of our property.
That said, we did not get off to a good start with Dacres but we built up a very good working relationship with Laura Paterson over the period of the sale and found her to be knowledgeable and professional in her work. Thank you Laura.

I felt that the vendor fees I paid were value for money. My property was on sight in the window of the Skipton office, the for sale board went up quickly, I was advised of viewings and given feedback. Whilst I am aware of cheaper fees available, in consideration of the service I received, I would be happy to pay them again next time.

Dacre's in Skipton has served me very proud between the end of year purchase of a property and now it's sale. As someone not living close to my property, I felt like I could contact the Skipton office for an update via phone or mail at my convenience and I would receive a knowledgable response. I appreciated advice from the office regarding the rental and sale values of my property. I also asked Jacob our contact, to assist me when distance was an issue in terms of collecting keys and he was extremely helpful. The piece of mind I had through the process was a real comfort for me. I hope that I can find another house with Dacre's after my experience with the Skipton office.
