We bought recently through this agent. Jayne was great - always helpful, friendly and professional.
She always returned calls when you left her a voicemail, sometimes up to 7pm, contacted the seller when issues arose and stayed in touch with us even if it was just to advise that she had not managed to progress an issue but was still trying.

We had a worse experience than 'other customers'. Have moved 6 times and Bridges were the poorest by a long way. Very charming and convincing on sign up but that was the last we saw of anyone with significant agency experience. Calls were not answered - the person employed to progress the chain... We had a worse experience than 'other customers'. Have moved 6 times and Bridges were the poorest by a long way. Very charming and convincing on sign up but that was the last we saw of anyone with significant agency experience. Calls were not answered - the person employed to progress the chain seemed to leave phone permanently on voicemail - and did not reply to messages left. Would take 3 or 4 calls before you could actually speak to her. House sold despite Bridges rather than because of them. They did not carry out proper checks on credentials of those joining the chain. Was a very unpleasant experience, rather confirming the bad reputation that agents often have.

Mr Gilbert addressing me as Mr. When I challenged him, stating that due to this lack of attention to detail I will be choosing a different company, I received a very rude and condescending reply stating that he would have thought I should have decided on several other factors. Personally I think when I am giving you the responsibility of selling my house the least you could do is remember if I was male or female. I did not respond further. I then received multiple (3 in 30minutes) phone calls from the branch which I did not answer due to feeling so uncomfortable. Very bad experience. I may also add that the price given in person was also different to the price quoted in the email I received.

Cathel is a one of the most professional and honest agents I have ever met.
When he first came to assess my home for sale it was a work in progress, since I had run out of money to do the work since I had to retire earlier than intended. He gave me a realistic valuation and arranged an open day which was well attended.
I am hoping now that contracts may be exchanged close to the asking price. I would reccomend Cathel to anyone looking to sell their property.

From the time we met Mr. Gilbert and agreed to Bridges marketing our property, we found him (and the other agents at Bridges) incredibly helpful and supportive, especially when our initial purchaser had to pull out. Another purchaser was found within a week and the transition to the house we were purchasing continued. Their progression team were also very helpful in keeping us informed of the on-going situations between solicitors etc. We would recommend Bridges to other sellers.

3) Neglected to mention the property backed on to a golf course and is in excellent school catchment area.
In my opinion they should not be allowed to be in business, they were not even decent enough to offer an apology.

Bridges arranged the sale of my fathers property as shown above, who is in a care home, they made the
process of selling it very easy for me as they did all the viewings and they worked very hard on my behalf to
get a buyer, and when they did from when the offer was made to completion was less than two months.
I would definately use them again should I sell another property, I cannot recommend them highly enough.

In our search for a property to buy we dealt almost exclusively with Bill Byrne. He listened to our "wish list" and advised of properties which suited our criteria. On viewings, he was patient and did not rush us at all and again, listened to our comments which he took into consideration on subsequent recommended properties. Once we had found the house we wanted to buy, he maintained his professional, considerate and supportive manner during a very protracted and sometimes frustrating process. He kept us informed and was forever, willing to listen and do what was necessary to expedite the purchase. He is courteous, professional and I would wholeheartedly recommend his services. The other members of the Frimley team were also helpful and responsive when we sought advice or in formation. A very good experience.
