I used this agent after a recommendation from another agent as I wanted multiple agents. I can only assume they recommended these solely to try and make them look better They found my buyer after just 1 week, excellent but from then on, the service I received was shocking. Did not pass on important information, did not phone when they said they would, ignored my instructions, acted more for the buyer than myself, tried to use emotional blackmail to get me to reduce the price, behaved in an extremely unprofessional way, wrote insulting and untrue comments about myself in their sale progress report (The director actually sent me the unedited and obviously unread version) My property eventually sold 6 months later, this was after I took control of the sale myself and therefore refused to pay them the full amount. I, generously gave them 50% (I believe they actually deserved no more than 10% for the service they gave) The remaining 50% I sent to charity. In my opinion, due to how this branch/company operates there is little wonder estate agents have such a bad name, in this particular case it is richly deserved.
What agent could do to change your mind?
Simply do what they promised to do and also were being paid to do.
