Awful estate agent, terrible communication, rude, obnoxious and generally very unhelpful. Also very dishonest, reported several problems to them and was then told a few weeks late that it's the first time they had heard anything about it. Avoid them like the plague.

4 Oct 2010Myself and my partner are having the same problems. Moved into the house in march this year, in april we reported the downstairs heaters give off fumes and the roof leeks (leaks?) it is now october and still nothing has been done despite ringing almost every week. To make thing worse they know we have a baby and coming up to winter we need both problems doing. We sent them a letter threatening to contact environmental health if things dont get done by the end of the month. They sent a letter back (a very rude one) claiming it is all our fault for not reporting things and that we never get in touch with them (all lies). They claimed the landlord refused to do any repairs because he cannot afford this, now all of a sudden they claim he is willing to do all repairs and he has never said such things. I am currently in the middle of writing a letter to the actual landlord apologizing of blaming him. Its not him its John German not acting a middle party and communicating. I'm sick of this. we need both doing asap as we have a 3 month old baby now and they only suddenly seem to care when we threaten them even though they blame us.

I used this agent after a recommendation from another agent as I wanted multiple agents. I can only assume they recommended these solely to try and make them look better They found my buyer after just 1 week, excellent but from then on, the service I received was shocking. Simply do what they promised to do and also were being paid to do.

By far the worst estate agent I've ever used and I had been renting for many many years. Their customer service is abysmal and they are very slow to get back to you when there are issues.
