During our tenancy ending in August 2025, several serious mistakes were made by the agents involved: • Adam (Senior Lettings Negotiator) – incorrectly accused us of surrendering our tenancy early and insisted that we had “returned keys,” even though we had not. This led to the agency arranging a premature checkout inspection on 28 July, despite our tenancy ending on 10 August. • Kate (Lettings Agent) – we communicated transparently with her about allowing viewings and possibly ending early a tenant moved in. Instead of appreciating our cooperation, this was used as a assumption that we were surrendering the tenancy. • Molly (Property Management Manager) – handled the deposit claim aggressively, demanding the full deposit of £1,730.76, based on an invalid checkout report done before our tenancy legally ended. She ignored our explanations and photographic proof. Even worse, the agency sent a handyman into the flat on 2 August using their spare key without notice or consent, we were still tenants. The worker left the flat messy and removed items from the kitchen. This was a clear breach of quiet enjoyment and trust. We had also paid professional cleaning on 8 August, which took place after the agency’s mistaken early inspection. The matter went to the Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS), which reviewed all evidence and ruled that the landlord was entitled to nothing — confirming the agency’s report was invalid because it was carried out during our tenancy period. No one from the agency ever properly apologised. The experience was stressful, timeconsuming, and completely avoidable they had handled things professionally. If you’re renting in the Isleworth area, I strongly recommend being extremely cautious when dealing with this branch, especially with the abovementioned staff. Always communicate in writing and keep your own records and photos. This agency’s conduct has shown a worrying lack of professionalism and respect tenants’ legal rights.
