Bought a house with bloxham in April, to get so close to completing before the stamp duty kicked back in to be told A DAY before that are vendors have bought somewhere at the start of September and Cherry never thought to tell us when she was told knowing this house sale had be going on nearly 7 MONTHS!? Especially being so far into a house purchase and she knew we wanted it done by August let alone September, she then said they wouldn’t move out for 3+ months then when was asked again if there was even a date and she said they wouldn’t tell her a date so another lie. The vendors refused to move out when the whole chain were waiting on them and everyone’s house sale fell through not that anyone at Bloxham cared. As if that wasn’t bad enough the next day bloxham and barlow put the house back on the market for 6 grand more than they sold it to me for?!? They don’t deserve the money from the house sale because they clearly only care about that and the vendors don’t deserve to sell their home again if they just string people along and waste people’s time and money! Good luck selling this property again with quite clearly very selfish vendors and little to no care from Cherry or Chris! Let’s hope they don’t screw anyone else over like they have us and our buyers!!

8 Oct 2021Unfortunately this is a very inaccurate review. The buyers were pushing for an unrealistic completion date (with no communication from their solicitors). As the chain ahead was not yet completed the vendors in front were unable to move onto their new properties on the date that the buyers requested (just 2 days prior). The buyers chose to withdraw their offer after their request for the vendors to pay their stamp duty was refused, therefore breaking down the chain that everyone had worked so hard to complete.

8 Oct 2021Very accurate thank you :) No such thing as an unrealistic completion date when the whole house sale was going on for months and months..so it should have been done latest June let alone still September, excuse us and our vendors for being pushy well within reason!! May i add you had no house purchase at all until everyone’s sale had basically gone through then it suddenly came about you did?so what do you expect of course it wasn’t near completion? So much for moving with family. Breaking down the chain yes, with no choice of our own and wasting hundreds of our money. Don’t talk as if we had a choice. I hope you make sure your garden is dog poo friendly when the next people come to view/buy your house and maybe quickly going round with the hoover wouldn’t be too bad of an idea either. :-)

This agent is so brilliant! Not only did they find a buyer for our bungalow really quickly but they helped smooth difficulties every step of the way. What agent could do to change your mind?
Bad! Not only are the fees very high for entering some things into a computer but are not refundable if they say no to a tenancy. I'm sure that's borderline legal to say the least. They just seem really corrupt.
