Oaks student lettings -don't be fooled by this company !! Takes your kids money & don't care -DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY !! Landlord a joke !! House not deemed safe at beginning not even the fire alarms we're working !! Had a property rented room to let in a house, my son not been there all year been home because of Covid !!! We went back to clean house & clean room -even putting new curtains up, which we left there, and now claiming new mattress needed, although we have photographs on the day he moved in & we have photographs on the day he moved out & handed keys back same day !! They don't want to show mattress with supposedly stains on ?? Maybe cuz they have no evidence, now seeking legal advice from ringrose law team -which our family own -bring it on !!

We were charged excessive and unjustified fees at the end of our tenancy, including over £2,000 for gas with no proper evidence. The amount kept changing, and we had to involve the Tenancy Deposit Scheme to fight for our money. The agent ignored emails, was rude and unprofessional, and provided no transparency. It felt like a deliberate attempt to scam students out of their deposits.

I would strongly think twice about using this Company, they took over a letting for a property my daughter and a friend were renting in Nottingham for 2 years and then they tried to retain nearly 90% of the deposit. Absolute shower, so poor one star ratings is far too high. As many have said before take the money and run, they should be called Flog it and Scarper. Been with them for 2 years now and they have never been good, they were better in the first year of being with them which made us stay with them but since the decision to stay was made they have been awful. Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
