What do you call a person who cracks his bathroom sink and demands you to pay for it? A thug? A fraudster, perhaps? Julian Wadden Heatons has decided to act as a dishonest, fraudulent thug with no respect towards their clients. My initial advice to anyone, who has no other choice than to rent through Julian Wadden, is to take pictures and many of them. That's because this is yet another estate agent who thinks that if they are 'witty' enough, then they could steal it and take it as their bonus. Julian Wadden Heatons handed the 7 Mouldsworth Avenue, Heaton Chapel, Stockport property over to us with a broken bathroom sink, shower cabin leaking through the living room's door, electricity was cut from the garage where the washing machine was situated, the couch, the armchair, the footrest and all mattresses had food stains and other ugly spots on them, the previous tenant left a vast amount of trash and other items to the property, the garden fence was collapsed, all bedroom carpets were filled with stains, one bed had screws missing, the garden was in a state of a jungle, wardrobes' doors almost fell off and almost caused harm. This list is much longer, but I believe you get the picture. Julian Wadden Heatons sent the inventory check-in list half a month after my tenancy started without an option to comment. I did not sign it. Today Julian Wadden Heatons provided me with a list of faults. Half were present in their check-in inventory list, and half were documented by me the day my tenancy started. A typical, law-abiding company would keep records of well-documented facts and wouldn't dare to forget their existence somehow. A thuggish and fraudulent company wouldn't hesitate to act in such a way. How can landlords trust their property in an estate agent's hands who let properties deteriorate in the state described above? A great company makes every party a winner. A thuggish and fraud-prone firm is wasting everybody's time and energy to survive like a parasite.
