DO NOT USE THIS UNPROFESSIONAL, THIEVING COMPANY! JASON WHITELEY, NATASHA CHICK, LYNDA SEAL After not receiving the legal paperwork or the Ts&Cs prior to paying a holding deposit, we were informed that we had failed referencing and therefore lost a substantial amount of money that was supposedly non-refundable (unbeknown to us). This is in spite of their outsourced company, Rentshield, calling us directly to confirm that we had in fact passed referencing and were ready to proceed with our tenancy agreement. My partner and I were upfront with the company, who told us after 4 working days of the landlord umming and arring with his wife, that he wanted to pursue other tenants due to the high demand of the (overpriced) property. Fair enough - as a landlord, that's his entitlement - but not at the cost of our holding deposit. After being passed between 5 incapable letting agents, the manager, Jason, illegally offered to transfer our 'null and void' money to a different property should we rent another property with them within 30 days (please see attached). This is a complete breach of the Renting Homes Act 2019 and breaching their license they must uphold under Rent Smart Wales! Appealing the complaints process, the manager Lynda, rudely and unprofessionally hung up my call! Legal action with Rent Smart Wales and Citizens Advice Bureau has been actioned. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID.

1) Informed me beforehand that my viewing was directly after someone else\'s, so that I could pick a different property instead. 2) Apologised for the inconvenience and offered to show me a different property that was on their books. 3) Not double booked me in the first place.
Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
No procedure set.
