The member of staff was unprofessional and, to make things worse, unapologetic. I arrived 10 minutes early at the property to be told that the people who had only just viewed it wanted to put a deposit down so I was probably too late. As someone who is working full time, has a limited amount of time until my current tenancy expires and has no access to a car the practice of effectively double booking prospective tenants in this way is completely unfair. ACJ Properties are helping to make the Cardiff rental market even more competitive than it already is by pitting prospective tenants against each other. The end result is that my afternoon has been wasted and I will have to wait until next weekend before I have another opportunity to view a property. I certainly won't be giving these time wasters any more business, though.
What agent could do to change your mind?
1) Informed me beforehand that my viewing was directly after someone else\'s, so that I could pick a different property instead. 2) Apologised for the inconvenience and offered to show me a different property that was on their books. 3) Not double booked me in the first place.
