My partner and I rent our flat in York and during our renewal process the staff at Linley and Simpson have been fantastic in helping us through the process during the difficulty or the Covid-19 lockdown. The renewal agent Emma has been brilliant in keeping us informed and updated with the renewal process. We couldn’t have asked for better service and considering the difficult situation at the moment, we are even more impressed with the service.

Fees are in line (if extremely overpriced) with other agencies in the area, however the fees are ridiculous when the most basic and fundamental errors are made in paperwork and communication which tenants are paying for.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
