We recently bought a flat in a mill conversion in Reddish through Julian Wadden’s Wellington Road branch. We were consistently treated with care, prompt attention and professionalism throughout. We approached them with a ten point list of criteria which greatly helped the process. We knew exactly what we were looking for and on that basis they were able rapidly, to come up with a precise fit. There were a couple of hurdles thrown up by a preliminary survey but the agent at Julian Wadden was able to give reassurance about those and kept us calm. The purchase process felt long but that was in no way connected to Julian Wadden. It was entirely the result of the lockdown process with various professionals, Land Survey, solicitors and others, not being at their desks. When the process felt like it had become bogged down the agent, primarily Mark Diamond, was able to act on our behalf and apply gentle, effective pressure where necessary. Our first agent was furloughed unfortunately, due to lockdown, but the branch manager stepped in and resumed a seamless level of service. We aren’t local and so following ‘completion’ Mark was able to give us some aftercare, holding and releasing a set of keys so that Deep Cleaning people could go in to the flat, without the necessity of us being present. We would not hesitate to recommend Julian Wadden to anyone purchasing property in the Stockport area. Along with being handled extremely professionally in what everyone recognises as a very stressful period, they retained warmth and kindness, which is worth a lot.

Kindly note that legally, letting agents need to publish information about their tenancy fees, government-approved redress schemes and client money protection schemes on their website and on third party websites (on which agents are listed). For properties to lease/rent in England, agents need to keep this information up to date and precise on allAgents or specify within the property description.
