I live with my boyfriend and our housemate wants to move out. He is struggling to find someone to take the room and called the agency to let them know this. We then receive an email to advise us that myself and my boyfriend "can more than afford" to double our rent to 1800 (before bills) and that he can vacate the property no problem. Now that's a scary email to receive. They did this without checking with us if this would be affordable - which it categorically isn't. Even more, the contract we signed was between three people, not two! If we could afford to live on our own, we would be doing that! When I went to address this with the agency, I had no apology for causing panic or for not even checking with us prior to offering this on our behalf - instead a patronising and challenging tone. No other business can survive with the disgraceful levels of service as rental agents. These guys might be good if you want to buy a house, but they've got bounds of room for improvement in their rental teams.

Truly awful and unethical. I had to deal with Stephanie Stavrou on email who was really rude and unprofessional to me, I tried to find a tenancy replacement and they would not accept them.
