Well handing over money to Hunters is a breeze, very efficient and trouble free. However when you move in and realise a repair carried out following leak in a bathroom above your property has been carried so poorly that you can still see the water marks under fresh paint and a flush 240v ceiling light in the bathroom has been held in place by broken up polystyrene packaging then thing alarm bells start to ring. So after replacing the light, repainting the bathroom and generally cleaning the apartment that was allegedly cleaned before I moved in I then moved on to replacing two completely broken roman blinds, again at my cost to save waiting forever for them to be replaced. So far so good for the landlord and Hunters. After moving in I found out the apartment was for sale which resulted in numerous calls and texts requesting viewings, oh joy. Had I known about this there's no way I'd have moved in. As you can see it was a never ending source of surprise, but not pleasant one's. So 12 months on I come to move out leaving the property in a far better state than when I moved in and to add insult to injury they slap a fee on me that's in small print. Ever wonder how high street estate agents get there money, it's easy, charge for next to nothing and hide it in red tape and contracts. If you're wondering why companies like purple bricks are doing so well, think upfront transparency and compare to the above

Terrible service. Every instance of bringing up faults on the property is met with hostility, and being told that the contractor they pay (we pay) to maintain the site is 'useful' despite the fact we've had to make multiple complaints about the site being left in a state of... Read Full Review

Moved into the flat to find multiple problems, which they claimed would be fixed when I viewed but now said they had "no record of". Advice: Take a video of the viewing and record all claims made! They are refusing to accept amendments to the inventory. Critical problems are... Read Full Review

Jay showed us the flat and he is very good at selling places to you the problems occur once you move in. No one picks up the phone, no maintenance carried out by Hunters who were managing it. When we left we had to fight hard to get our deposit as they made up lies on the deposit form. The flat... Read Full Review

Terrible!! This is the third agency I have used in as many years and by far the worst. They were all the nicest people in the world until we actually moved in at which point that all stopped. We sited multiple problems on the inventory, some of them significant, i.e. a broken washing machine,... Read Full Review
