Absolutely pathetic and unprofessional services. I am completely frustrated, mentally harassed and embarrassed because of unprofessional & unacceptable services i received from Leaders Letting Agency, Lemington Spa office team which i thought had a very good reputation. I scheduled viewing with there lemington spa local Office on the property which was listed online. I was available for viewing as per confirmation and there representative showed me the property and explained that if i make the payment over phone it will be reserved for me and as soon as i was free from viewing i called leaders office and made the payment to reserve the property and got confirmation from there office that it is now reserved and i need to complete the further documentation for which i confirmed that will be available on Saturday morning as i was pretty much occupied with my office work. After almost 5 hours of booking the property i got below response from there office and i was completely shocked and frustrated as they cancelled my booking with below remark which is not at all true and acceptable. ============================================================ Response from your Office: I am so sorry but the landlord has just come back to us and said that the property was let yesterday by another agent, we weren't aware and they had forgotten to tell us. They only let us know when we informed them about your let. I do apologise and understand this is really inconvenient. Your admin fee will be refunded to you and monies should credit in the next few days. I am sorry again. ======================================================== I am really not convinced with response i received from them almost after 5 hours 30 mins after i made the initial payment to reserve the property (41 Riplingham Court, Arlington Avenue, Leamington Spa) that when they called owner he informed that property was already let yesterday by another agent and agency wasw not informed and was only been informed when they informed them about my let which is after 5 hours of my booking. What they have said is definitely not the reason for cancelling my booking and feel its something else and and they might have given the property to someone who was offering more rent. Just after my viewing there was another lady who came for viewing and I guess they agreed let with her. It was complete waste of my time. I cancelled all my viewing after paying booking amount to these guys. My family is expected to land in UK by 2nd week of August and now left all alone with no options in my hand. No one from office called me to understand my frustration and I had to call multiple times. My advance is still not been refunded though they said they already reverted on same day. We as a consumer try to buy property via authorized/trusted agency but i never thought that such a reputed letting agency work in such a irresponsible way. I WILL REQUEST ALL WHO IS SEEING THIS REVIEW NEVER EVER GO WITH THEM SS AFTER MY EXPERIENCE I SPOKE TO MY OFFICE MATES AND THEY ALSO FACED SIMILAR SORT OF ISSUE WHERE EITHER PROPERTY WAS EITHER CANCELLED OR THEY INCREASED THE RENT.
