I wish I had looked up agency ratings and I would have seen how poor D&G is rated. How they are still around, I have no idea! Thy are very poor at explaining how they work or how the process goes between two tenants changing. They also still like to charge a fee when a tenant has come to the end of their year contract, still stating it as a “change o sharer”. They don't make any effort to know the cost of rooms or what tenants need to be paying each other so it's very easy for someone to rip you off. I lost money coming into my contract and going out (about £300 total). I complained to them about their system and I finally got an appology when raising it with the genral office but never felt the agent who made the mistakes felt any sort of remorse. I get that in a situation like that to say “sorry for the mix up” would probably claim blame but sometimes an appology is all that's needed. Very disappointing though how the general office dealt with my complaint. Never offered any kind of reimbursement or to help get the money back from said tenant but then again they don't do much but push papers at you and charge you their obscene amount for a name change and signature. If you take away anything from this just PLEASE DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS WITH D&G you will regret it.
