I am buying a property through Fulfords branch on Drake circus. I was advised for speed and ease of use it would be easier to use their conveyancing company. They were more expensive, but as I want to be in the flat asap I agreed. All was going well until I saw the cost via the online process which was some £300 plus their quote. I immediately spoke to Gareth, who spotted the oversight on their part and phoned the company to rectify the mistake. after 3 days he finally replied saying that although they admit the error they would not rectify it. Now instead of being £100 more expensive they are nearly £500 more expensive. I have cancelled and asked for my deposit back which will take 3-5 working days!. I have already lost over a week and hours of my time filling in forms for these clowns. I should have followed my instinct and gone to a professional company in the first place. Apparently this is the first time this has happened in 5 years. Yeah right, more like 5 days!! My advice do your research and go somewhere else
