Living in Milngavie
The town is best known to be a starting point of the West Highland Way, the long-distance walking challenge to reach Fort William. Most of the population living in Milngavie are daily commuters to work or study in Central Glasgow. The main public transport connection is the Milngavie train station. Today it serves as a dormitory suburban area of Glasgow with mostly residential properties for families and young professionals. Stone villas and semi-detached houses were built for rich citizens commuting to the city centre via railway in the 1860`s. More housing has been constructed after the World War II bombings and since then there has been a large addition of new developments of bungalows and semi-detached homes. As you can't give a rating of 0, 1 will have to do. My flatmate and I stayed in a property listed with property bureau for over a year and a half. Throughout that time we had constant emails, phone calls and hassle from the agents at Property Bureau. My ensuite bathroom has mould for months before anything was done about it. The agents were rude and unhelpful. When I began to get mould in my bedroom, I became more annoyed that I was unable to stay in my bedroom. A lack of communication, rude emails full of blame instead of apologising and coming up with a solution. On leaving, the property was cleaning and tidied to the same standard when we had moved in (not great either). Of course we were charged a £98 cleaning charge for a dusty table and a dirty spoon. I could go on and on but will definitely be avoiding property bureau in the future and would not recommend them to anyone.

What agent could do to change your mind?
Be there for both tenants and landlord. Help the tenants more (when it comes to property maintenance) - they are the middleman between the tenant and landlord but they clearly failed.

Agent did not attend to repairs, ignored emails, ignored complaints. Did not allow termination of lease at the end of the contracted date. What agent could do to change your mind?
Acknowledged problems, attempted to fix them, left the flat in a reasonable state (it was disgusting) and not expect it to be in a better state when keys handed back (although it was by far). Not be so blatant in cheating the tenant out of the deposit and by sticking to the terms of the lease agreement.
