The deal didn't go through, yet they took several days rent money from my deposit that I paid without it being 100% clear beforehand verbally that that is what would be done if the deal did not go through. I even expressed my concern verbally at the time that I didn't think it right they may take money and the agent led me astray saying they didn't always take the money, then later just took my money when I said no I didn't want them to keep it and another agent told me I'd signed a document and they always take it 100% of the time. Dodgy as hell just to get the deal through. Disappointing service from senior members of the establishment. I put a complaint in but they all stuck together and the COO didn't find a solution but only defended her team which actually made the situation worse. Very greedy people who only care about money rather than making customers happy. I'm sure the original founders of the firm in the 1800's would be very disappointed if they were in my shoes in how I was treated at the end. I'm glad the deal didn't go through in the end as I want nothing to do with these people. Their loss they messed up the deal.

Worst rental agents! I rented a flat from them for 2 years. I have never had so many repairs, and it usually took 2-3 calls before a repairman came to fix anything. I had to buy a microwave when the fitted one stopped working and they wouldn't replace it because landlord insisted on multiple... Read Full Review
