I used Lawson's for many years and found them expensive but provided excellent service. I now use another letting agent as I found their service levels very poor and staff unprofessional in more recent years. Any damage which occurred to the property I was expected to pay for even when it was clear the tenants had caused it. Complaints are dismissed and say they have sent explanatory emails which I never received. They are also very uncompetitive with extra charges for renewing contracts, inspections and insisting on extra certificates(which legally you do not have to provide). This is on top of the highest management fees in the area. Whitegates is much cheaper, far more professional and actually visibly do work for their fees.
